Dr.Dr. S. Johnsi is an Associate Professor at Firebird Institute of Research in Management, holding a Doctorate degree in Management (Behavioural Finance) from Bharathiar University. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of behavioral factors on equity investors' decision-making.

With approximately 2 years of industry experience and 22 years of MBA teaching experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role.

In 2006, Dr.Johnsi qualified for the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) organized by Bharathiar University. Her research interests encompass Behavioural Finance, Capital Markets, and Corporate Finance. She has published several research papers in reputed journals, including a recent publication in Empirical Economics Letters (EEL), an ABDC – C journal.

Dr.Johnsi has served as a resource person for various Management Development Programs, catering to entry and middle-level employees in the finance domain with topics such as "Developing a Finance Sense" and "Finance for Non-Finance Managers." She has also contributed to Faculty Development Programs and guided two MPhil research scholars.

Throughout her career, Dr.Johnsi has actively participated in and presented over 20 papers at national and international conferences. Notably, her recent research article won the Best Research Paper Award in the Finance Track at the International Conference 2023 held at N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research. She has received Best Achievement Awards - Certificates of Appreciation in 2002-03 and 2004-05 from Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi.

Additionally, Dr.Johnsi has organized various academic events such as intercollegiate meets, quizzes, faculty development programs, and guest lectures. She specializes in teaching subjects like Financial Management, Equity Research & Portfolio Management, Financial Services, International Financial Management, and Cost Management.
