Important Guidelines
Tips for last minute planning
Speed & Accuracy:
The allotted time should be used wisely by students. They can improve their accuracy by making more attempts. The regular practice tests can really assist students in successfully passing the MAT. Improve their speed and accuracy by solving a few mock tests 2-3 days before the exam.
Coaching is the Key
It will not be enough to take a coaching class, listen to faculty advice, and actually pass MAT. Methods that they use to teach the masses are those that everyone can understand. By showing shortcuts, you can impress quite a few people, but from the exam perspective, they may not be applicable. The MAT doesn't check your calculative abilities but your understanding of the sum and logic.
Organize your strategy
In order to succeed in an entrance exam, students need to plan how they will approach different questions. Keeping time at a minimum is important, so don't waste time on difficult questions. Candidates are encouraged to devote a sufficient amount of time to each section of MAT 2021.
Mock Tests
It is recommended that if they practice previous year's question papers in the last few months before an exam students will be able to remember all of the tactics for the exam. During this exercise, students will be asked actual questions and should time their responses so that they can compare their responses. In addition, attempt the test papers during the same time slot as on their final exam.
Learn the shortcuts
There are shortcuts that every student uses to prepare for entrance exams. They can save time by memorizing formulas and charts by using shortcuts. There are some standard shortcuts that students can choose from, but they can also make their own. For the section on mathematical skills, candidates should revise all important formulas. By doing so, they will avoid last-minute confusion during the exam.
Sleep Well
Try keeping a journal beside their bed to record thoughts as they go to sleep instead of ruminating over them. Meditate and breathe deeply before going to bed. They shouldn't force them self to sleep if they are unable to fall asleep. As they sleep, their brain processes information and retains it. A good night's sleep will also enable them to be well-rested the next day, so aim to get 7-8 hours before exams.
Strength & Weakness
Each of the students have their specific strength & weakness. There's no doubt that if they don't know their strengths, then they also don't know their weaknesses. Exam strategy involves playing to their strengths and navigating through their weaknesses.
Conclusion
The first and most important criteria to overcome the above-mentioned criteria concerning the MAT exam are self-confidence and determination. This can be overcome if one has confidence in themselves and is determined to succeed in the exam. In essence, one should familiarize themselves with exam details before taking an exam. The candidate needs to perform research to learn about the exam pattern and some myths associated with it.
