Dr.Vishal Kumar R hails from the discipline of Accounting & Auditing. He served with a Management Consulting firm based at Chennai and gained hands-on exposure to Accounting & Auditing of various firms and banks. He cemented his practical exposure with a Ph.D in Strategic Finance from the Anna University Chennai and has been serving as an academician for the past fifteen years. In addition to his experience in teaching, he also trains Big 4 Accounting firm aspirants and has his interests in the gamification of accounting. While he is not delving into numbers, he is busy composing poems or expressing himself through music. He believes in the philosophy that a good teacher is not one who explains what others find difficult to understand,but understands what others find difficult to explain. He is also an active researcher and case writer.
