Governing Structure

The governance of the PGDM programme at Firebird Institute of Research in Management is structured to ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with AICTE norms. At the apex is the DR SVK Educational Charities, which promotes and manages the institution by providing strategic direction, resources, and policy oversight.

The Governing Body (GB) serves as the highest decision-making authority. Constituted as per AICTE guidelines, it comprises representatives from the Trust, external educationists, industry experts, AICTE nominees, senior faculty, and the Director of the Institute as Member Secretary. The Governing Body approves policies, budgets, and ensures alignment with regulatory requirements and institutional goals.

The Director functions as the chief executive and academic leader, responsible for implementing the Governing Body’s approved policies. The Director is supported by Boards of Studies for core courses and specializations, which design and periodically revise curricula in consultation with faculty, alumni, and industry inputs.

Administrative responsibilities are managed by heads of departments along with an Accounts Manager, Controller of Examinations, and supportive staff. To strengthen student development and stakeholder engagement, the institution has established a Career Development Cell, along with IQAC, Research Committee, and Grievance Redressal Cells.

At the operational level, faculty, non-teaching staff, and support teams ensure effective teaching learning, research, and student services, thereby translating governance into impactful outcomes.
