Earn while you learn:
Firebird’s academic program is for just 2.5 hours in a normal week day. All students are compulsorily enrolled for a 4-6-hour period with companies on and off campus through special arrangements. Students get actual work responsibilities instead of “study tours” and really learn what the business world is about. They also get a stipend/salary from these companies which can be as high as 40% - 50% of their annual tuition fees at Firebird.
Typical openings are in Digital marketing techniques, logistics, Research & Survey, Sales etc.
Corporate CEO speak series
Knowledge comes from a variety of sources, our students work with faculty to bring renown thought leaders on to campus and interact with them in informal, inspiring settings.
Outbound activities including factory visits
Students are occasionally taken on outbound activities in full strength or small groups, combining factory visits to companies of excellence, combined with informal settings where alternate ideas can be brought forward.
Mentorship programs
Everyone is not the same. We recognize this and provide one to one mentorship, assisting each students journey of self-discovery.
Entrepreneurship assistance
This is an area where we shine as our origins are from Industry. Indeed, there are startup ventures on campus which give hands on experience even in things like getting compliance certificates and licenses, building manufacturing facilities, the art of purchase and negotiation, selling skills, understanding cash flows etc – The real world.
Reflection Workshops
Held once a quarter, it is an added process to mentorship where students reflect on their learning experiences and try to see what gaps of learning they would cover in the ending month.
