Case Workshop on Alternative Investments at Firebird Institute

Firebird Institute of Research in Management successfully hosted a Case Workshop on Alternative Investments on 28th November 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Leelavathi Auditorium. The workshop was designed to provide students with practical exposure to emerging investment avenues beyond traditional asset classes.

The institute was honoured to have Mr. Guru Vittal R, Cluster Head at HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, as the Workshop Mentor. With his extensive industry experience, Mr. Vittal delivered valuable insights into alternative investment strategies, highlighting their growing relevance in today’s dynamic financial landscape.

Through real-world case discussions and industry-driven perspectives, students gained a deeper understanding of concepts such as risk assessment, portfolio diversification, and long-term value creation in alternative investments. The interactive nature of the session encouraged critical thinking and active participation, enabling students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
