Deeksharambh 2025: Welcoming Firebird’s Batch 9 to a Journey of Excellence

On August 8, 2025, the Firebird Institute of Research in Management hosted Deeksharambh 2025, marking the official commencement of the MBA journey for Batch 9. By 10:00 AM, the campus auditorium was vibrant with anticipation as students, parents, faculty, and dignitaries gathered for the inspiring event.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the transition from darkness to light, followed by the soulful Tamil Thai Vazhthu, paying tribute to cultural roots. Director, Dr. P. Srinivas Rao, extended a heartfelt welcome and outlined Firebird’s vision of academic rigor, industry integration, and holistic growth.

The highlight of the morning was the keynote address by Dr. Vishal Talwar, COO, University of Southampton – Delhi. He emphasised the power of active listening, critical questioning, and resilient problem-solving. Through the memorable story of the bumblebee, he inspired students to believe in themselves beyond limitations.

Dr. R. Nandagopal, Chief Mentor, enriched the gathering with insights on the MBA as an all-encompassing programme, urging students to practice and refine their skills daily.

A symbolic moment, The Roses of Deeksharambh, saw faculty and dignitaries present each student with a rose – representing growth, transformation, and promise.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem and group photographs, capturing the joy and aspirations of this new beginning.

Firebird proudly welcomes the Batch of 2025–2027, wishing them a journey filled with deep learning, fearless exploration, and purposeful leadership.
