Industrial Visit: Firebird Students Gain Real-World Insights at Shiva Texyarn Ltd.

As part of its experiential learning curriculum, Firebird Institute of Research in Management organized an industrial visit to Shiva Texyarn Ltd. on May 2, 2025. Students gained hands-on exposure to the textile manufacturing process across three key divisions: Lamination, Spinning, and Garment Production.

In the Lamination Division, they explored advanced coating technologies for waterproof, breathable, and flame-retardant textiles. The Spinning Division showcased the transformation of raw cotton into high-quality yarn through precise processes like carding, combing, and spinning. Finally, in the Garment Division, students observed the complete apparel production workflow, from cutting and stitching to quality checks and packaging.

The visit bridged classroom learning with real-world practice, deepening students’ understanding of manufacturing, supply chains, and technological integration.
